Original Completion 1-01

Dec 2025@PRODUCT LONGEVITY & MAINTENANCE

Folded Screening Panel

A Real Project. A 7-Year Timeline. A Proven Result.

This project showcases the long-term performance of our façade screening system through three key stages: original completion, after 7 years of natural weathering, and recently restored with a maintenance recoating. The evolution clearly demonstrates how durable the product is – and how easily it can be refreshed to look brand-new again.

04

Original Completion in 2019
The project featured our screening system in a rich timber aesthetic that provided warmth, privacy, and a sculptural façade appeal. The clean lines and natural tones created a strong architectural identity from day one.

06

After 7-Year of Natural Weathering
Seven years later, the INNOWOOD material has naturally weathered under full exposure to sun, rain, and coastal conditions.
Even with colour fading – a predictable, natural process – the façade structure remains solid, stable, and fully functional. This stage highlights the INNOWOOD product’s reliability and long-term durability.

08-01
After Maintenance Coating
Following a simple maintenance recoating, the façade has been restored to a crisp, modern finish. The refreshed tone gives the building a revitalised presence, demonstrating how easy and cost-effective it is to maintain the product’s original beauty.

Why Regular Maintenance Matters

Proper care ensures your façade stays beautiful for decades.
Benefits include:

  • Colour restoration to suit updated design trends
  • Extended lifespan of the façade components
  • Lower long-term costs compared to large-scale replacements
  • Consistent architectural appearance across multi-unit developments

Our materials are designed to age gracefully — and to be refreshed just as easily.

Maintenance Recommendation

For optimal performance, we recommend:

  • A visual inspection every 2–3 years
  • Cleaning to remove dust, salt, and environmental buildup
  • A scheduled recoating cycle depending on exposure conditions

Our team can advise on project-specific maintenance schedules.

If you are looking to raise the visual appeal of your home our team of dedicated individuals is ready to help you through the process and provide advice or solutions to suit your design intent. INNOWOOD is here to upgrade your home with resilient timber-look finishes, feel free to contact us on 1300 787 717 or send a message to [email protected].
