INNOWOOD products have a multitude of applications one of which is their use for the refurbishment of existing buildings to bring a natural warm feel to an otherwise lacking space. A great example of this is the recent project of the RFBI Berry Masonic Village refurbishment. Visualised by Integrated Design Group and built by Planix Projects this refurbishment and upgrade was a perfect fit for IINNOWOOD’s concealed clip fixing products and elliptical louvres.

INNOWOOD with its natural timber look and sturdy construction was the ideal choice for the external soffit of the newly constructed entryway. INNOWOOD’s clip system for its CL14025 profile creates an even and regular shadow line between the boards allowing the warm spotted gum colours to provide a relaxing environment to welcome guests, young and old. Due to the nature of the soffit envisioned by Integrated Design Group they required a durable yet sophisticated finish able to withstand exposure to the harsh Australian elements.

The fixed elliptical louvres installed above the entry provide both natural ventilation and flow of the air from the outside while also limiting the amount of sunlight entering facility. Supplied prefabricated, the louvre panels were easy to install, saving Planix Projects time and manpower. Since the louvres are made from the same hardy materials as the other INNOWOOD products and with the addition of aluminium inserts the louvres are installed to stand the test of time.
