INNOWOOD authorised Edge Environment to conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) of its products and prepare a report with its Environmental Product Declarations (EPD). The EPDs have been verified by an independent third-party Catalyst Ltd.
These environmental product assessments, including life cycle assessments, establish the basis for ensuring that our EPD complies with the manufacturer specific requirements for EPDs under the Green Building Council of Australia’s Green Star rating system in that they conform with:
- ISO 14025: 2006 Environmental label and declarations – Type III Environmental declarations principle and procedures
- EN 15804, Sustainability of construction work- Environmental product declarations
- With cradle-to-gate scope
This assessment is a verified document that reports environmental data of products based on life cycle assessment (LCA) and other relevant information, in accordance with the international standard ISO 14025 (Type III Environmental Declarations)
